Past Presentations

Once a month we host a mission luncheon where missionaries from all over the world come together and share about the work being done to proclaim God's word. Our prayer is to connect and grow God's children and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Take a look back on these past presentations and learn how you can pray and be a part of their mission.

MIDLAND - AS OUR OWN

Founded in 2007, As Our Own provides a life-long family and best-in-class academics to the most vulnerable children in India … those born in the red-light districts and high-risk slums where the greatest dangers and  needs  exist.  But  rescue  alone  isn’t  enough.  Care  alone  isn’t  enough.  The  holistic  approach  of  AOO incorporates  transformation-minded  staff,  best-in-class  education,  loving  and  quality  care,  and  a  true  family structure that provides each daughter with the opportunity to reach her full, God-given potential. This way, each child not only escapes the darkness, but is empowered to live a life of purpose where she can make a lasting impact on the world.

Houston - India

The hope for India lies in Christ.  The Gospel is being carried to the people by missionaries. Despite significant persecution by the Hindu government in India, tens of thousands are coming to faith. During their visit to India, Brad and Young Me witnessed (and participated in) baptizing over 200 new believers in a single day. God is moving in a mighty way in India.

MIDLAND - Ananias House - Brother John

But, Ananias said, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints.”  But, the Lord said to Ananias, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.”  - Acts 9:13 & 15

Ananias, a member of the persecuted obeyed God.  And so, Saul the persecutor, became Paul the proclaimer.

This is the story of the church in the Middle East and North Africa. Through wars, persecution and atrocities, it stands strong to reach out to their persecutor and fulfill the great commission. Therefore, Ananias House exists to support local communities of believers in the greater Middle East, and North Africa with dynamic ministries to develop churches, train leaders and provide life enriching services to the local body of believers.
